Makerere Answers is a centrally-hosted web knowledgebase service that provides members of the Makerere University community with easy access to consulting solutions and self-help information about desktop computing and other information technology topics (and soon to expand to include other non-IT related categories)
This self-service website covers desktop computing and other information technology topics supported by Makerere University's DICTS (Directorate for ICT Support), including numerous online FAQ-style documents.
About the Knowledgebase Management Team
The Knowledge Management (KM) team develops and maintains the content in the Knowledge Base (KB) repository. The team works with service providers and subject matter experts, both within and external to the Makerere University community, to identify, collect, manage, and present information using a model of distributed responsibility for content and centralized publishing.
